From the onset, it was a pleasure working with Damini and Mihir. It was also a huge pleasure being the one to photograph their Hindu engagement ceremony, pre-wedding shoot, Hindu wedding ceremony and reception.
The wedding & Reception took place at Allianz Park in Hendon. Allianz Park is best known for being the home of Saracens, and while sporting events form much of the core of what they do, this stunning space has also proven time and time again to be one of the finest wedding venues in North London.
The venue was beautifully decorated with gold and white accents. The round mandap chosen was decorated simply but exquisitely in gold and white while the rest of the venue space for guests was also given the royalty treatment of white and gold. Gold pillars stood as a walkway straight up to the mandap making the venue even more regal. The guys at Mistique Events did a great job.
The post-wedding portraits were taken at North Mymms in Hertfordshire. It wasn’t a difficult task capturing their looks of love because it came out effortlessly during the shoot.
Hindu Wedding Photographer in North West London
The Hindu wedding ceremony began proper with the arrival of Damini and Mihir. The groom was dressed as only royalty would in accents of gold, white and red. The bride was equally decked out to match her groom with beautifully embroidered materials and gold jewellery. All traditional rites of a Hindu wedding ceremony were carried out appropriately and the Hindu priest ensured that everyone was carried along. It was an exquisite celebration. There were laughter and cheers every step of the way.
I could see a few tears of happiness from the bride when she thought no one was looking and heartfelt speeches were being read.
The reception was nothing short of grand. They had an elaborate cake that was 6 tiers high! Made with beautiful deep blue and gold and decorated with flowers all around. Big well done to Heriot Cakes for the cake. The couple cut the cake together amidst the cheers of friends and loved ones. The night was filled with eating, dancing and celebrating. The bride had eyes only for her dashing groom.

The DJs MK Roadshow did a great job by keeping guests on their feet all night, dancing and singing. It was fun to witness. The groom’s group of friends are a very lively lot and ensured that the groom had an exceptionally amazing time by cheering and lifting him up at intervals during the night.
A wedding like this is one a Hindu wedding photographer such as myself will remember in a long time. I am truly glad that Damini and Mihir granted me the privilege to share and document their wonderful day. I wish them the best that life has to offer!
