Asian wedding Photography at KP Hall Harrow- Olivine Studios
Hindu weddings are always a colourful and joyful affair as was seen during the wedding of Priya and Dharmish. This Hindu wedding ceremony was celebrated at the KP Centre in Harrow, Middlesex. The wedding venue is a beautiful setup and a dream come true for any Hindu wedding photographer.
The day started with the usual bride and groom preparations. Priya was taken care of by Pooja Shah. She looked nothing less than magnificent in her colourful dress and beautifully decorated body decoration. Dharmish was not to be left out either with his full regalia, looking every bit like royalty. There was a lovely display of colours: red, yellow, gold, white. It was really beautiful. The mandap that was used suited the atmosphere perfectly with its gold and white accents. Flowers also bordered the mandap in a beautiful display by the one and only Rivaaj weddings
The ceremony started properly with the arrival of Priya and Dharmish. They arrived separately as is the tradition. There were lots of happy cheering and goodwill prayers being said for the couple. The smiles on the faces of Priya and Dharmish was infectious as their joy radiated through without any inhibitions. It was really great to see.

All traditional rites were done according to the Hindu/Asian wedding ceremony including the seven-step process. There was music and joy all around while they waited for the grand entrance of the bride, Priya. One would say it was well worth the wait when she finally came in, escorted by her family. She looked regal and beautiful in her outfit and decoration. The smile on Dharmish’s face could have torn a hole through the darkness to let in light. The look of love in Priya’s eyes for Dharmish was sure to make a number of single men really jealous and wish to also get married.
The symbolic fire was lit with Dharmish leading Priya carefully around it to signify the start of their new household. This is a very significant part of Hindu weddings. They also said their vows and I could tell that they meant every word which they said to each other. Words that came from the heart. After all the rites had been performed according to tradition, we then proceeded to the grounds of the venue to take beautiful pictures of the bride and groom.
The KP Centre has a scenic and calm atmosphere that naturally puts you at ease without trouble. The pictures were as lovely as the couple. They couldn’t seem to take their eyes off each other the entire time and I was able to capture these incredible moments.
After the photo session, it was time for the couple to leave. They bade farewell to friends and family. The bride hugged her father and mother fiercely with love and gratitude in her eyes. Touching moments. A father’s love was reflected in the way Priya’s father lovingly touched her face as she got into the vehicle to leave.
I was truly glad to be the official Hindu wedding photographer for Dharmish and Priya. It was a beautiful event that I strove to capture through my lens.
